This Refund Policy governs all payments and subscription purchases made for the Iterato software-as-a-service ("SaaS") platform. By subscribing to or using Iterato, you ("User" or "Customer") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in its entirety.
1. Merchant of Record
All financial transactions are processed through our official Merchant of Record (MoR), DODOPayments, which is solely responsible for handling all aspects of billing, taxes, refunds, invoicing, and compliance with applicable tax and e-commerce laws. Iterato does not directly process or store any payment-related information.
All refund claims are subject to the transaction and refund processing policies of DODOPayments, who shall act as the final processor of any refund initiated under the terms stated herein.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are issued under the following specific conditions only:
a. First-Time Subscription Refund — No Questions Asked
- Users are eligible for a 100% refund within 24 hours of their first subscription payment, regardless of reason.
- This refund is only applicable to the first payment made by a new user or business account.
b. Service Interruption Refund
- Users are eligible for a partial or full refund in the event of a proven service outage or product unavailability exceeding four (4) continuous hours.
- Proof of service outage must be demonstrable and verifiable via logs, monitoring tools, or written confirmation by Iterato.
c. Product Malfunction or Defect
- Refunds may be issued if there is a material malfunction of the product that significantly hinders the core functionality for which the user subscribed.
- Such refunds are at the sole discretion of Iterato after thorough internal investigation.
d. Disqualification
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- For any payments made after the initial 24-hour refund window.
- If service disruptions are caused by external factors (e.g., third-party integrations, user-side bugs, force majeure).
- For unused subscription periods post-cancellation.
- For partial usage of the platform or change in business decision.
- If user account is suspended or terminated due to violation of Iterato's Terms of Service.
3. Trial Period
Iterato may offer free trials for 7, 14, or 30 days, at its sole discretion. During the trial:
- No charges are applied unless the user manually upgrades.
- Trials are subject to automated cancellation if fraudulent behavior or abuse is detected.
- A user may not claim a refund for charges incurred after voluntarily transitioning from a free trial to a paid plan.
4. Refund Processing Time
- Eligible refunds shall be processed by DODOPayments within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment method and bank policies.
- Iterato shall not be held liable for any delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party systems.
5. Refund Request Procedure
To initiate a refund, the user must submit a formal request to founder@iterato.in with the subject line: Refund Request – [Your Account Email]
, along with the following details:
- Registered email address
- Transaction reference ID
- Date and time of payment
- Reason for refund request (if applicable)
6. Amendments to this Policy
Iterato reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through in-app notices. Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
All refund claims shall be governed under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
